Love my new oblique pen. much easier to hold and adapt to various nibs. Also great colour
I have bought this to have a fresh new start at my calligraphy school. Once it arrived, I immediately loved it! The color, consistency(the screw might seem fragile but it’s not!) and the curve! fits my hand perfectly. Not too heavy, but with very good weight. I just loveeeeee it. There were no issue delivering to Japan. Even very quick!
It's a joy writing with with such a beautiful work of art.
This is such a pretty tool and I love it. It sure makes a difference in what you pay for.
I will be happy to review this pen once I have received the pen. I placed my order 12/26 through apple pay and quickly realized my shipping address needed to be updated. I quickly emailed Tom’s Studio with the correct address. They promptly responded and said this would be corrected but unfortunately they did not use the correct street address. They missed one digit and the town was also incorrect. The zip code was correct. My pen arrived in a nearby city but is now heading to another state! Seems there is no remedy to track this down. So far this has been a very frustrating experience. I did purchase Route insurance but who know how that will play out. I hope this pen eventually shows up and I can give it rave reviews.
Tom still uses the same design principles as the very first pen he made for his wife. It's important to him to create products that his customers will cherish for the rest of their lives. It's why each every one of my products has a lifetime guarantee.

Tools of the past were made by master craftspeople that cared passionately about their craft and the experience of the people using their products. We seem to have lost the 'soul' of these tools in the age of mass production. It's my mission to bring the creative soul back to the tools we use every day.

Seeing his calligrapher wife, Gemma Milly, using a mass-produced calligraphy pen inspired Tom to craft a collection of pens that matched the high quality of her work. Using a 60-year-old engineering lathe, he now makes pens for some of the world’s most celebrated calligraphers and stationery brands.

From the first pen I made for my wife to the pens I now make for my customers around the world. I put the same care and attention into each and every pen. I love what I do and hope that it shows in the finished product.
