Such a pleasure to write with my new flourish pen, the weight feels great and it’s beautiful to look at too
I really love my new Flourish Obliques! I normally use a feather-light holder and typically prefer a larger grip, so I wasn't quite sure how it would feel during use. I really wanted to give it a go, however, because I love the idea of not having to mess with the ****** every time I change the nib! I'm so very glad I ordered :). The grip feels great, and I really haven't noticed the extra weight at all. And I love the flexibility of the ****** SO much! Take it from someone who owns over 50 holders - these are my new favorites!
Aloha, Tom & Gemma! I LOVE everything about the two pen holders you sent. From the gorgeous and environmentally thoughtful packaging, I was impressed. I immediately put two of my favorite nibs in each one and utilized the screw ****** and little wrench to adjust the nibs. Love the weight of the holders. My new favorites! Thank you so very much - made a lovely birthday/Christmas gift - worth waiting for!
Algo caro para lo que realmente es. Compré el de color turquesa y al cabo de escribir un rato se tiñe el dedo un poco.
I purchased both a straight and an oblique pen holder. The nib attachment resolves the chronic issue of inserting a fresh nib securely and at a precise angle, but without damaging it or drawing blood :-( . The ****** is an engineering marvel - the nib is positioned perfectly, instantly, and securely every time. I was prepared to be disappointed but I love them. I'm more likely to replace worn nibs (and just swap out nibs) knowing I don't have go through the agony of getting the next one in place. Visually, they're so lovely. The gradations of color are so subtle and interesting (especially the fuschia/teal - yowza!) that these pens are always on my desk. (I also was in need of a good pen rest at the time and purchased the brass pen rest sold here. Perfect combo). The only con I can think of is that it's a better fit for average, small hands - I'm long fingered - but that may be a personal preference thing.
Tom still uses the same design principles as the very first pen he made for his wife. It's important to him to create products that his customers will cherish for the rest of their lives. It's why each every one of my products has a lifetime guarantee.

Tools of the past were made by master craftspeople that cared passionately about their craft and the experience of the people using their products. We seem to have lost the 'soul' of these tools in the age of mass production. It's my mission to bring the creative soul back to the tools we use every day.

Seeing his calligrapher wife, Gemma Milly, using a mass-produced calligraphy pen inspired Tom to craft a collection of pens that matched the high quality of her work. Using a 60-year-old engineering lathe, he now makes pens for some of the world’s most celebrated calligraphers and stationery brands.

From the first pen I made for my wife to the pens I now make for my customers around the world. I put the same care and attention into each and every pen. I love what I do and hope that it shows in the finished product.
